Berrett Reunion

We had our Berrett Family Reunion on the 2 of July. It's always good to see people that we don't always get to see. We had lots of fun, playing and eating, even though Asher was a huge grump when we first got there. We ended up having to take him away from all the people for a while and then he was fine.
Asher's favorite part.....the bouncy house! This his him and his cousin Renny, she is such a good cousin and is always looking out for him!
Asher and my cousin Mandi's little girl Braelynn, after we figured out how to take pictures you could see
Asher, my nephew Jesse, and great-niece Kaiya
 WATER FIGHT!
Uncle Jaden was so nice and saved a balloon for Asher even though he didn't want to join in with the big kids!
 Auction time
 The famous "Spider-man" bouncy house

 Just relaxin'
Since everyone was there, after the reunion we went back to Mom and Dad's to give Dad his b-day/Father's day present (his b-day is June 30th)
 Tally was so tired!
And we had to get a picture of all the kids, especially since my brother Brandon and his family are moving to Mexico for 2 years! So it will probably be a while before we get another one!
From left to right: Jaden (middle child), Brandon (second to oldest), Me (youngest), Krey (second to youngest), and Chad (oldest), who is standing on the fireplace to make him taller because he's also the shortest....at least of the boys :)

Father's Day '11

We went camping this year for Father's Day just like we have done for about the last 3 years, only this was a really short trip (due to the fact that Jason had finally gotten the stomach flu that me and Asher had both had earlier in the week, setting us going up a day late) and was REALLY COLD! We didn't do much but play around camp, watch movies, and come home first thing in the morning due to the cold weather, but it was still fun to get away!

Asher spent like a half an hour in the truck playing
Poor Jason still didn't feel the greatest
We are just parked at the campsite and Asher is watching a movie in the truck, after about 20 min I finally convinced him he could watch his movie in the trailer, it didn't have to be in the truck
Finally convinced him to play outside for a while
 Playing "kick the ball"

 Nap time...

Asher fell asleep at 7:00, slept until about 9:00 woke up and went to the bathroom with us, came back and went right back to sleep! He was a tired boy!
 Leaving
He's got his spiderman drink and his dvd....what else do you need?!
After we were all home and clean
Happy Father's Day Jason! You are the best dad we could ask for!

Henriette and Ann :(

I have been putting off doing this post forever because it was so sad, but I really need to get caught up and in order to do that, this post must be done.
Back at the beginning of June, right after we got back from Hawaii, we had to say goodbye to two wonderful girls within two days of each other. Henriette and Ann were exchange students that had been living with my brother and sister-in-law since last August/September. It was so hard to say goodbye to them, they are wonderful girls and we miss them both so much! So before I start crying here are some pictures of their graduation and at the airport.

Henriette from Norway and Ann from Germany

 The whole fam!
Asher wanted me to go with him instead of taking pictures
 My parents and the girls
Henriette, Asher, Me, and Ann (Jason had to work)
After graduation we went to a park to eat and Charlee rode with us! Asher didn't want to hold my hand, but would hold Char's as we were walking out to the car
 Saying goodbye to Henriette
 Everyone who was there.
Our goodbyes were so long that she almost missed her plane, I think she was the last one on the plane
She was crying so hard she wouldn't turn around and look at us. She just waved over her shoulder the whole way up. :(
Kiaron, Koden, and Asher running at the airport
Asher was having fun with his cousins

Showing Kobe and Kiaron how to play "Angry Birds" while we were waiting for Ann's plane
I thought I got a group shot here too, but my camera apparently didn't take it :(
Bye Ann
We miss both girls so much and hope they come back for a visit soon!
