It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!
Well last weekend we finally got our Christmas Tree! Every year while we are decorating our we make hot chocolate and this year we added candy canes to our treat while we were decorating. We also finally put up our lights. Of course we wait until the day that it finally decides to snow to put up our lights, but oh well we got them up and with the snow it is finally beginning to feel like Christmas.

Temple Square
Well it looks like I need to play some catch up. On the 6th of December we went to Utah for the night. We went down on Saturday, and came back on Sunday. It was fun to see the lights even though I was a little disappointed, they didn't seem to have as many lights as they usually do, and at that time there wasn't any snow. But it was still nice to get away for the night. After temple square we went to find a restaurant that said it served South American food. After being stuck in traffic a fourth of a mile from the restaurant for 45 minutes, we finally reached the sign and saw that they didn't serve Argentine food! So then we had to go find another place to eat. Thankfully there was a Sizzler right up the road on our way back to our hotel so we didn't have to wait to much longer to eat which was a really good thing because I tend to get grouchy when I'm hungry! :)

Thanksgiving Weekend
Thanksgiving weekend was so much fun. This year we had Thanksgiving at my parent's house, actually it was at my brother and sister-in-law's newly finish house in the uncarpeted basement. It was so good to get to see everyone. My brother and his wife and little girl came up from California, and my other brother and his family, including his oldest daughter and her new husband came up from Utah. My oldest brother and family didn't make it to over on Thanksgiving, but we did get to see them the next day. Since everyone was up we decided to all go in together and got some family pictures of everyone. Then we are going to get a big picture and frame of the picture of my mom's choice to hang up in their house. I am such a slacker and didn't get any pictures while everyone was up but hopefully I will be able to post one of the ones that was taken when we get them back. Well that's it for now.

New Job
So I got a new job, I started on Friday and am really enjoying it. It is still pretty stressful because I am still trying to learn how to help and set up for the procedures and to do the charting, but I think I'm going to really going to enjoy it especially when I get more comfortable with how to do everything.

Getaway
So I am finally getting around to finishing off what we did last week. Thursday we ended up going to West Yellowstone for the night. Jason's parents have a time share through WorldMark. The company just opened up a new one in West this last spring, and we haven't been to it yet so we went for the night. The best part was that because it's off season we only paid like $30 for the night, and they are the type with Kitchen's it them. It was so much fun and nice to get away for the night.
When we left there was no snow, and by the time we got to West there was about 2-3inches.
These two pictures were taken in Island Park just outside of West Yellowstone.
Then when we got back on Friday we had nice surprise. My brother Krey, his wife Brandi, and their daughter Sereniti were up for a short visit. We actually knew that they were coming but my brother Jaden and his family didn't. They had some time so they came up for the weekend to help Jaden with his house. They got a lot done and it was so good to see them. It wasn't a very long trip, but they will be back up on the 22nd for a week so hopefully we will get to spend more time visiting with them then.

Christmas in November
Jason's work made him take off this week, because he has to start teaching a class on Monday, so he won't be able to take off any more time until next year. We thought about going away for the week but decided to stay home. So instead of going away we ended up getting Jason a dirt bike! Well that's not exactly how it happened. We had been looking at dirt bikes for awhile, trying to find a good deal. We found this bike on Saturday for a really good deal, and ended up going back on Monday and getting it. It is Jason's EARLY Christmas present. But of course when we tried to load it up, the battery was dead so we couldn't pick it up until Tuesday. After we picked it up we headed out to my parents house so Jason could ride it out in my grandma's field behind my parent's house. I borrowed my parent's 4-wheeler and went out with him. We had a lot of fun and think Jason is really enjoying it. That night we also ended up raking up our back yard. We made one really big pile in our back yard.

On Wednesday we went out and helped my brother with his house and of course Jason went out riding again!:) The rest of the week will be in a different post, but here are some pictures of Jason out riding. They were taken today because I forgot to take any pictures the first couple of times he went out so these are the first pictures of him and his very muddy new/old bike.

Halloween
Well, Halloween was very uneventful for us. We only had, like 5 trick-or-treaters, and then, of course, my niece and nephews. My sister-in-law brought down her kids before taking them to her mom's house so I could see them. The younger ones had fallen asleep on the way down and were not very happy to have been woken up, but it was still fun to see them all dressed up. The rest of the night was spent watching "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoneix"!

PaRtY TiMe
Last night we went to party at Jason's friend Jake and his wife Amy's house. There was a lot of good food, and everyone was told to bring a pumpkin to carve. Jason did most of the carving and cleaning of ours, because I was taking the pictures;)! Our pumpkin somehow ended up with a crooked smile but oh well:), it was fun to get out of the house and be with friends.
Then today we went out to my parents house to help my brother. My brother and sister-in-law are building a house behind my parents house, and we go out there most weekends to help. They are getting really close to being done and are getting pretty excited about it.
Salmon
So this is a little on the late side but I wanted to get some pictures from my mom's camera, but last Thursday, 10/16, we loaded up our truck and headed for Salmon, Idaho! My family goes up for a while every October, we fish, and just relax. We didn't do too much fishing and caught absolutely nothing, but we still had fun! It always seems that our time up there is too short no matter how long we stay. This year none of my brothers were able to go up, so it was just Jason, me and my parents. My parents went up on Tuesday and spent a couple of days before Jason and I got there. We rode down to the end of the road on Saturday, we got to see Kitchen Creek, Fountain Creek, and and Pack Bridge, Jason and I also went down to Spring Creek campground to see the Walnut Tree, and of course Spring Creek. We had a blast and were sad to go.
The grass was so high where we were camped, Shanyce had to jump to see over it. She looked like a tiny deer as she jumped through the grass. There were even places that were taller than Oso was. They both had fun playing in it though.

SNOW! (in October)
So Jason and I were watching T.V. this morning and I decided to get a drink, but as I stood up and looked out our window this is what I saw. Actually, when I looked out, it was actually snowing, and pretty hard at that, but by the time I got my camera and bundled up it had quit snowing so I only got a pictures of what had stuck to the ground. It has been snowing on and off all day long, not really hard, just enough to keep every thing wet enough for my dogs to make a big mess of my floors.

This video is one that I took earlier tonight as it was softly snowing. It was really pretty, but with all of the stores having all of their Christmas decorations up, it just seems way too weird and way too early (plus the fact that I am NOT a big snow fan). And to think I just washed most of my windows yesterday, That's Idaho for you! :)
Tonight we watched my nephew, who is three, while his parents went out to dinner. It is his parents anniversary, and his other brothers and sister all went somewhere else. Koden and Charlee went to G-ma Debbie's and Kobe stayed home with my mom but Kiaron wanted to come play with us! We had pigs in blanket for dinner, then we went and got treats, and ate them and some popcorn while we watched Scooby-Doo. Then it was off to bed for him. His parent's just came and picked him up about an hour ago, so now Jason is getting his lesson ready for tomorrow and I am doing this :) Well I'm about spent so, TTFN, Ta-Ta-For-Now!

BrAvO and BaSkEtBaLl WoUnDs
Last night was Bravo for Jason's work. It is an award night of sorts for the people who qualify for it. You get dressed up, and they have cocktails before, then it is dinner and a show. The big wigs from corporate do a skit while you're eating. The food is not usually the greatest but it is pretty fun to watch the drunks. We have been to one before where Jason received an award, but now he is management, so he doesn't qualify for the award but still gets to go and be one of the hosts.
Then tonight he had a basketball game. He plays on the Qwest team for work, and is the best player in my opinion, however I might be a little predigest :) Their name is Sin Valor (or Worthless), but don't let their name fool you, they have only lost a couple of games, unfortunately last night was one of those times. So anyways at the game tonight, with about seven minutes left in game, Jason took an elbow to the chin. It scared me, all I saw was him go down hard. I went running over to him and when he got up there was blood all over him and the floor. His chin had a pretty deep cut in it, but of course Jason wouldn't leave until the game was over, so we had to wait until then to take him to Community Care. After driving around for about a half an hour, we finally found one that was still open at 8:30 at night. His cut went clear to the bone and ended up needing five stitches and the nurse gave him a bright pink band aide for being such a good patient;) (The nurse was really nice and had fun teasing Jason. He was a very good sport about the whole thing including the band aide.)

Here he is all stitched up and with his pretty pink band aide on :)

Here is the wound before we saw the doctor. Sorry it is blurry, but he was standing in the waiting room when I took it, and he would only let me take one picture so this is it.

Wedding!
On the 27 of September we went down to Wellsville UT, for my niece's wedding. It was fun to see everyone and to meet her biological parents and brother. (My brother and Sister-in-law adopted her when she was 12 years old.)
She had both her "dads" (my brother and her biological dad) walk her down the isle. It was a beautiful day and everything went off without a hitch.
Quarter of a Century!
CamPing
Well I decided since I am currently not doing anything I will post what we have been up to for the last few months. Let's see the end of August we went camping at Island Park for four days and had a blast! We played in the water, went to West, and Quake Lake and just hung out in the hammock.
Jason, Shanyce and Oso at Quake Lake.
Us hanging out in the Hammock.
Shanyce didn't like water has much as Oso did, but she did get in and even swam!
The dogs had so much fun playing on the banks. They would chase each other up and down the river. They loved the freedom.

Hello!
Hey! We finally decided to join the blogging world. This is probably not going to be the most interesting blog on the block but it is more for me than for anyone else, so oh well. Let me see my husband and I have been married for three years. We have two dogs, a malamute mix (Oso) and a miniature schnauzer (Shanyce). They can be a handful but are also fun to have around. This picture is when we first got our malamute he is now much bigger.
