Well this is going to be two un-pictured posts in a row, because I still can't find my camera. But I figured I had better update about the baby since it has been about a month and like six or more doctors appointments. Yesterday my mom and me went down to the U of U for my appointment. (We decided after the last appointment down there being such a waste of time, that it wasn't worth Jason taking the day off of work for it, so my mom agreed to go with me. Thanks mom!) We made a stop before my appointment at my Aunt Brenda's and each made a glass necklace. We had to leave before they were done, but I can't wait to see how mine turned out! Thanks Brenda! Then we headed to the hospital for my very long and uninformative appointment. I say uninformative but I did find out that I am dilated to a 1 and 60% effaced! Woo Hoo! And then the doctor did call me later that night (he still didn't have me scheduled at the appointment) and said that we are scheduled to come in on the 3rd of September, and to be induced the 4th! Which means instead of having 3 weeks left, I only have 2 weeks and 2 days! That did help, at least knowing when, so I know how much time I have left to get everything together, and trust me, I still have a lot to do! But back to the day. After my appointment, we met up with my brother Krey who is doing his second clinical rotation for Optometry School at Salt Lake VA and took a dryer to his new apartment in Lehi, and had dinner with his wife and two kids. It was good to see them, and nice to have them so close (They have been in California for three years while he was in school). After we ate mom and I took off for home. It was a long ride but we didn't make too bad of time and I got home at about 10:30. I think the best news of the day was that we don't have to go down to Utah again until he's born! I am so sick of that drive!
Thanks again mom for going with me!

Birch Creek, Take 3
So last weekend, the 8th, my family (Mom, Dad, Jaden, Julie, Julie's Mom and step dad, Chad, Joni, and kids)went up to Birch Creek for a weekend of camping. I don't think that I have ever gone to Birch Creek so many times in one year. But that's OK because we had fun. Since we had just gone camping the week before, and I am starting to have a hard time sleeping in our trailer, or really any trailer, we just went up for the day. We got there and at about 12:00 we headed for Meadow Lake. We had lunch, and my mostly my nieces and nephews fished (the grown ups were helping re-bait, getting untangled and unhooking fish for them.) We did bring home two catches of the day, my niece Lisa's fish swallowed the hook, and my niece Evelin caught a towel! They had a blast, but when it started getting really cold and looking like it was going to snow (it actually did a little) we decided to head back to camp. We visited and played games until it finally started warming up. The kids even floated down the creek a couple of times. I don't think that it was that warm! We had tinfoil dinners and visited some more before we headed for home. It was cold but we had fun spending the day with family! Sorry no photo's yet. I can't find my camera at the moment! When/if I find it I will put the pictures on then.

Island Park Weekend
We decided that we wanted to have one last HOORAH before summer was over and the baby gets here, and since I am just starting my eighth month, we decided we better do it this last weekend. We knew we weren't going to be able to go for long, since Jason is right in the middle of teaching a class, but we still wanted to get away, so Friday the 31st after Jason got off work, we threw in the remaining stuff to pack and headed for Island Park. We didn't get to the campsite until about 10 o'clock, so we quickly set up and went to bed. The next morning we decided to head to West look around. I got one of the bears that I collect, and then we headed back to camp. We decided to walk down to the reservoir with the dogs to let them play. When we got there, there was a bird who kept calling to Oso. He would chase it up and down the bank, and even swim across the water to try and get it, but after a while he would give up. When the bird saw that he was no longer chasing him, the bird would fly back to Oso and start calling again! They were quite the pair to watch, and every time we went back the bird was still there and they would start all over again. The dogs had a ton of fun playing in the water and on the bank, and we stayed down there for about an hour and a half before heading back to camp. Then we just relaxed and hung out at camp, Jason went for a ride on his bike, and later we went back down to the water. This time Jason and I got in too, the water was actually really nice and not too cold. The dogs did not, however, like it when a boat went by and made waves. They would both head up the beach to get as far away as they could! Chickens! Then we had dinner, a somewhat disappointing fire (the barrier thing was so high you couldn't see the fire and could verily feel it), played some card games and went to bed. Sunday we got up and were both so sore (Jason from packing, and me from Shanyce sleeping on my hip all night) that we just packed up camp, went down to the water one last time, (to play and so Oso could say "Good-bye" to his bird friend), and headed home. I was glad that we went, even though it wasn't the best thought out trip and I did forget some things, (like the bread for french toast, and taco shells for breakfast burritos, oops!), it was still lots of fun, and probably Jason's and my last getaway (especially with just us;) )for awhile! Thanks babe! I had fun!

Spoiled Rotten!
Last Thursday was my shower which my sister-in-law Julie and my mom threw for me, and man were we spoiled! He isn't even here yet and is already SPOILED ROTTEN! He got TONS of CUTE clothes, LOTS of warm blankets, and plenty of other fun stuff, including an umbrella stroller, cute diaper bag (which Jason says he won't use because it is too "cute"), diapers, wipes, a play set, and other fun stuff that he is going to need. I don't have the actual pictures from the shower yet because I haven't gotten them from Julie, (I need to take my computer out so she can download them onto it) but I will do another quick post when I get them. So for now here are just some pictures I took when we got home of his cute clothes and blankets that he got. Thanks to everyone who came, and thank you so much Julie and mom for the awesome shower!!!

These are "Jason's". His mom made these for him to use.
The jungle set another set that Jason's mom made.
This blanket is from my niece Charlee, Julie, her mom, her sister Stephanie, and Stephanie's son McKeon.
These are all of the receiving blankets that people made for him, the very bottom one is from Jason's Grandma Pincock.
Here is the cute diaper cake that Julie made.
These are the receiving blankets and burp cloths that my mom made.
More clothes!
