Warm River '11

The weekend after Jason's week off was the Marriott Reunion at Warm River. There wasn't many people there this year, but it was fun to see who was able to come. We had lot's of fun, and are so glad that we got to see the few who came!

A bald eagle in a tree across the river
Asher and the little/big kids (ages 4 and under) decided they needed to make their own fire
I think they ended up taking every piece of firewood from the pile by the fire to their spot up by the picnic tables
Asher kept getting in trouble by Sereniti because he would sit on the pile, and then they couldn't put anymore on. And the fact that it was a "fire". Side note: after they got the "fire" all built up I over hear the kids talking and Sereniti says that they need to light it and Koden says "I have a match in my pocket!" And I'm pretty sure he did! They didn't actually light their fire though, thankfully!
Playing on some big rocks with Trae
I love Trae's face! And poor Shanyce! Here eat a stick! I save her right after I took the picture.
Our only trip down the river. Asher was tired and fell asleep on the way down, so we ended up getting out right after this picture was taken so he didn't wake up when we went over the rapids. We are at the very back of the  picture.
Asher and Dad after the excursion
And yes he is totally my son, and is not wearing any shoes. I totally have a hard time enforcing him to wear shoes everywhere when I don't like  to wear shoes either, and didn't most of childhood in the summer. Jason is the shoe enforcer.
 Playing with Trae
The big kids made a huge tower from all the tubes
Trae was so tired from playing he couldn't even finish dinner
 Playing chase me with Dad
 Catch me Dad!

He loved playing football with Kobe
And frisbee with Krey and Renni
We had to do some fishing of course
I love how he sticks his tongue out when he concentrates!
He tries to put his fishing pole in his pocket. It doesn't work so well.

 Playing cars with Trae
So tired! (On our way home)
