The Saturday after Christmas my family had their Christmas party. (Jason's family's party was rescheduled from it's original date, due to bad weather to a day that we couldn't go.) It was nice to get to have everyone all together for a couple of hours. All of my brother's and their kids, with the exception of one niece and her husband and my oldest nephew's wife, were there. We just hung out, ate food, and us kids exchanged presents. We used to draw names but now we just rotate through everyone so you get a chance to have everyone and not just keep getting the same person, which actually happened a lot. This year we had my brother Krey and his wife Brandi, we got them a game for their WII. We also gave my parents their framed big picture of the whole family which we took over Thanksgiving and a digital frame to put pictures of everyone in. It was fun to see everyone and to spend the time together.
Now on to New Year's. I only had to work until 4, but Jason of course had to work until 7 again, so we headed out to my brother's house after work to play games and ring in the New Year with my parents and Krey, Brandi and Seriniti, and Jaden Julie and kids. We played pictionary and pinochle and some other game that I don't know the name of, until midnight, then we rang in the new year and all went home to bed. Were not to big of party animals.;) Well that is our holiday experience in a nut shell.
