PaRtY TiMe

Last night we went to party at Jason's friend Jake and his wife Amy's house. There was a lot of good food, and everyone was told to bring a pumpkin to carve. Jason did most of the carving and cleaning of ours, because I was taking the pictures;)! Our pumpkin somehow ended up with a crooked smile but oh well:), it was fun to get out of the house and be with friends.

Then today we went out to my parents house to help my brother. My brother and sister-in-law are building a house behind my parents house, and we go out there most weekends to help. They are getting really close to being done and are getting pretty excited about it.

Salmon

So this is a little on the late side but I wanted to get some pictures from my mom's camera, but last Thursday, 10/16, we loaded up our truck and headed for Salmon, Idaho! My family goes up for a while every October, we fish, and just relax. We didn't do too much fishing and caught absolutely nothing, but we still had fun! It always seems that our time up there is too short no matter how long we stay. This year none of my brothers were able to go up, so it was just Jason, me and my parents. My parents went up on Tuesday and spent a couple of days before Jason and I got there. We rode down to the end of the road on Saturday, we got to see Kitchen Creek, Fountain Creek, and and Pack Bridge, Jason and I also went down to Spring Creek campground to see the Walnut Tree, and of course Spring Creek. We had a blast and were sad to go.

One night after we got up to let the dogs out, my parent's dog Sammy took my place and wouldn't move! She even tried to bite me when I tried to move her! My mom finally had to come get her off the bed.

The grass was so high where we were camped, Shanyce had to jump to see over it. She looked like a tiny deer as she jumped through the grass. There were even places that were taller than Oso was. They both had fun playing in it though.

SNOW! (in October)

So Jason and I were watching T.V. this morning and I decided to get a drink, but as I stood up and looked out our window this is what I saw. Actually, when I looked out, it was actually snowing, and pretty hard at that, but by the time I got my camera and bundled up it had quit snowing so I only got a pictures of what had stuck to the ground. It has been snowing on and off all day long, not really hard, just enough to keep every thing wet enough for my dogs to make a big mess of my floors.

This video is one that I took earlier tonight as it was softly snowing. It was really pretty, but with all of the stores having all of their Christmas decorations up, it just seems way too weird and way too early (plus the fact that I am NOT a big snow fan). And to think I just washed most of my windows yesterday, That's Idaho for you! :)
Tonight we watched my nephew, who is three, while his parents went out to dinner. It is his parents anniversary, and his other brothers and sister all went somewhere else. Koden and Charlee went to G-ma Debbie's and Kobe stayed home with my mom but Kiaron wanted to come play with us! We had pigs in blanket for dinner, then we went and got treats, and ate them and some popcorn while we watched Scooby-Doo. Then it was off to bed for him. His parent's just came and picked him up about an hour ago, so now Jason is getting his lesson ready for tomorrow and I am doing this :) Well I'm about spent so, TTFN, Ta-Ta-For-Now!

BrAvO and BaSkEtBaLl WoUnDs

Last night was Bravo for Jason's work. It is an award night of sorts for the people who qualify for it. You get dressed up, and they have cocktails before, then it is dinner and a show. The big wigs from corporate do a skit while you're eating. The food is not usually the greatest but it is pretty fun to watch the drunks. We have been to one before where Jason received an award, but now he is management, so he doesn't qualify for the award but still gets to go and be one of the hosts.

Then tonight he had a basketball game. He plays on the Qwest team for work, and is the best player in my opinion, however I might be a little predigest :) Their name is Sin Valor (or Worthless), but don't let their name fool you, they have only lost a couple of games, unfortunately last night was one of those times. So anyways at the game tonight, with about seven minutes left in game, Jason took an elbow to the chin. It scared me, all I saw was him go down hard. I went running over to him and when he got up there was blood all over him and the floor. His chin had a pretty deep cut in it, but of course Jason wouldn't leave until the game was over, so we had to wait until then to take him to Community Care. After driving around for about a half an hour, we finally found one that was still open at 8:30 at night. His cut went clear to the bone and ended up needing five stitches and the nurse gave him a bright pink band aide for being such a good patient;) (The nurse was really nice and had fun teasing Jason. He was a very good sport about the whole thing including the band aide.)
Jason waiting for the doctor.

Here is the wound before we saw the doctor. Sorry it is blurry, but he was standing in the waiting room when I took it, and he would only let me take one picture so this is it.

Here he is all stitched up and with his pretty pink band aide on :)

Wedding!

On the 27 of September we went down to Wellsville UT, for my niece's wedding. It was fun to see everyone and to meet her biological parents and brother. (My brother and Sister-in-law adopted her when she was 12 years old.)
She had both her "dads" (my brother and her biological dad) walk her down the isle. It was a beautiful day and everything went off without a hitch.

Quarter of a Century!

The 6th of September was Jason's birthday! He turned 25 Years Old! On his actual birthday we had his grandparents 50th anniversary, so we didn't celebrate until Sunday, but he still got his usual confetti birthday cake (just a day late).

CamPing

Well I decided since I am currently not doing anything I will post what we have been up to for the last few months. Let's see the end of August we went camping at Island Park for four days and had a blast! We played in the water, went to West, and Quake Lake and just hung out in the hammock. Jason, Shanyce and Oso at Quake Lake.

Us hanging out in the Hammock.

Shanyce didn't like water has much as Oso did, but she did get in and even swam!

The dogs had so much fun playing on the banks. They would chase each other up and down the river. They loved the freedom.
