5th Anniversary

Yes, we really have been married for FIVE years! It doesn't seem like that long, but then again, it does! This year Jason asked his parents to watch Asher on our anniversary, so we could go out to dinner. (Thanks Brenda, and Dale) We went to the Olive Garden, (we hadn't been in forever) and then Jason got me a blizzard for dessert! (He didn't want one) It was so nice to spend some time with my man, even though I did miss my little man ;) I love you so much Jason, thanks for everything you do for me, and Asher! You are the greatest husband/father we could ask for! LOVE YOU! HAPPY FIFTH!

~ShANyCE~

So this one is really late, but I couldn't do four post for Asher's birthday, and not do ONE for Shanyce's! Shanyce turn four this year! I can't believe that we have had her for that long, but it's also hard to think of a time that we didn't have her. We love you Shanyce! (Oh, just in case you're wondering, it's pronounced Sha-niece)

Not too long after we got her
 She was so tiny!
The night we brought her home
They used to take naps together like this all the time
 Waking Jason up
 Full grown
These are out of order, but just a few days after we got her, we went to Salmon. I was so worried that she would freeze, or get lost, or that a hawk would swoop down and steal her thinking she was a mouse or something, but we made it without any problems
I just love how little she was, I'm actually surprised at how big she got
Another one to prove just how little she was
Up camping. In places the grass was a lot taller than her, (still is!) I really thought I was going to loose her up there!

JaSOn'S 27th BirTHdaY/ LaBor DaY

This year Jason's Birthday landed on Labor Day! Since he didn't have to work, I had been asking him for weeks what he wanted to do for his birthday, he would never answer. So finally on Monday in the morning, he decided we would go to the fair. We got ready and headed down to Blackfoot. We only made it around once, because there were so many people there. We looked at the trailers, and went to the petting zoo, and after getting some lunch, (and an ice cream cone) we headed home. It wasn't a very eventful birthday, but supposedly, is what Jason wanted to do! I hope you had a wonderful  TWENTY SEVENTH birthday, honey! (Yes, he is really that old! Haha!) I love you babe!!!!
Feeding the goats in the petting zoo (or trying to at least. The ones in the middle were too full and didn't want any more)
The birthday boy and his boy
Finally we found some that were hungry
 Very hungry
He came right on out. Asher thought it was great!

LaBOr DaY WeeKeNd

Saturday night of Labor Day weekend we decided to go up to Birch Creek with my family. We went up Saturday morning and came home Sunday night. Since we were only going for one night, and our trailer needs to get fixed (ask Jason!) we decided we would just stay with my parents. Thanks for letting us stay with you! We had lots of fun, and me and Jason even got to go for a little ride. Thanks Mom, (and Kiaron!) for keeping Asher entertained while we gone!
Kobe right after he'd been sitting in the creek
Julie and the kids playing!
You can't really see, but Kobe is sitting in the creek! Crazy boy!
Koden, and one of "his" dogs. (He asked to have Shanyce put on his lap, so we had to snap a pic!)
Asher playing with trucks in G-ma and G-pa Jackson's trailer
Having fun!

WaLKinG FoOL!

This is way late! These pictures were taken right after Asher's Birthday, so about a month ago! I also have a video, but I think it might be too long, it won't upload. :( He is lots better at walking now! But I still wanted to post this, so here he is!
Big boy in his big PJ's
So cute!
He looks so much like a little boy!

~OnE yEaR~

I still can't believe I'm already doing his twelve month post. :( It's kind of sad how fast he is growing, and that he really isn't my baby anymore. He is now my TODDLER! Holy Crap, I don't what else to say, but Holy Crap! Well now having said how fast he is growing I'll give you his 1 year stats. His weight is 18.7 (still really skinny, but I like him like that!), His height is 29, and his Head circumference is 18. He is  about average for head and height, but still on the low end for weight. I'm not sure if there is even any chance that he will be average on weight for at least a while, and it's not that he doesn't eat, because he eats constantly. If you have food around him, you'd better be willing to share! Well I guess know I will put in some of his milestones/things he's doing now.

  • He will walk with his walker that he got for his birthday all over the house, still hasn't figured out how to turn it around so I have to constantly go and turn him around so he can continue to walk. He loves it.
  • He will also walk while only holding one of your hands, even though he doesn't prefer it. And will take a few steps as he is falling toward you.
  • He is a big climber, and is constantly climbing on my couch, ottoman, chair, and fireplace. And if you set him on our bed, he tries to climb over to the night stand.
  • If I leave the patio door open he will be outside in a matter of seconds, and anytime I go near the patio door, he starts whining because he thinks I'm going outside without him.  (He LOVES the outside and always has. I'm really dreading winter. He's not going to like not being able to spend all day outside)
  • He loves playing trucks on our fireplace, and when he's done, he just pushes them all off and leaves. (Him and Daddy play cars a lot when Mom is cooking dinner. His favorite one is the tow truck. He likes that it hooks two together, and is always trying to get some of the others to do the same.)
  • He does not like the word no and bursts into tears, and acts so offended anytime you tell him "no no"
  • He is starting to have a few things with milk in them and, so far, seems to be doing good with them. No more blood
  • He still loves balls, and loves to play "catch" (or roll the ball to him, and he throws it in any direction the minute it touches his hands!)
  • He is a very good kisser (and huger), but will only give kisses on your nose, while doing a tiny bite on the tip of it. And will only do them if he is in the mood.
  • He now sits facing front in the car (Yes I know he is suppose to be 20lbs, but we thought he was, and a week after his birthday Dad turned it around in his truck, and now there is NO going back. He loves being able to see what's going on).
  • He can now "push" the buttons on toys that have them on purpose, when he wants.
  • He is such a big helper and likes to help me sweep (he has his own little broom), mop (he steals it from me), and dust :)
  • He still does not like the vacuum, unless he is being held by Mommy or Daddy
  • He hasn't learned any new signs, (mostly because I get lazy with them) but is still working on a few
  • He loves his baths, and splashing
  • He will occasionally, when he is playing with the home phone, end up calling someone. So far it has either been my mom (he's called her a couple of times), or Julie (he's called her once). He also almost called 911 once, but thanks to mom's cat-like reflexes, I hit the end button right after he hit send, so it didn't ring. Whew! Silly boy!
  • He is no longer getting OT. He graduated from it the Monday after his birthday! We will miss seeing Andrea every week, but wish her lots of luck in Alaska!
  • He loves to put one thing inside something else and shake until the one inside comes out. (He thinks he is quite hilarious when he does this, and will get to the point that he can hardly breath because he's laughing so hard) His favorite is to put his teethers in a plastic cylinder container (that some drink mixes came in) and shake!
  • He still loves playing in water, and everytime he goes outside, he has to play with the hose
That is all I can think of right now. You are growing so fast, and as excited as I am to see what the future holds, I wish you slow down a little! We love you so much! Love Mom and Dad

Asher!

So I know I have already done two posts about Asher's birthday, but, he is my only kid, well other than the dogs, but you know what I mean. So I'm doing one more. Probably two. :) This one I wanted to just kind of do a post of pictures, then I will probably do an update one after he has his one year check-up. So here are some pictures of my baby over the last year! (There are a lot of pictures below! I tried to narrow it down, and this is the best I could do. I have lots more on my hard drive, so I really did narrow them down quite a bit!)
Just a few hours old
Asher and Dad. Love at first sight!
Me and my baby!

One day old
Working on his tan, with his cool shades on

I can't believe how much lighter his foot is now! When he was born it was almost black, now it's more of a light purple color
Poor little guy had three IV's in at one point :(
Nap time
Welcome Home Asher!
We would always find him like this, he did not like to leave his O2 in

Being a big boy at only 7 weeks!
He loved his bouncy chair
Sucking on his thumb. We lucked out, and he only does this when he is teething
Pretty blue eyes!
One of my favorite outfits. Also the outfit he came home from the hospital in (this picture is not when he came home)
Best Buds from the begging!

Blessing day!
Two months old
I know that these are not in order, but I'm not going to try to fix it! I love you so much baby! (One year pic's, to come soon!)
