Baby Bump

This is about the only picture of me pregnant this time (I mean other than the ones I'm accidently in, like Easter). I decided I'd better get at least one of my baby bump this time around. I am defiantly bigger this time then I was with Asher, and a lot lower which makes it so my clothes don't fit as well as last time. My stomach pushes my pants down, and then my shirts are too short. but I only have a few more days! They are inducing me on Wednesday, and I would be lying if I said I didn't have mixed feelings about it. I am so beyond ready to not be pregnant, I have been for months, really since about two months. But at the same time not ready for the baby to be here, and to have two kids to take care of. But it has to come sooner or later, so why not right? I think the reason my doctor is willing to induce is because I will be 39 weeks, and my contractions have slowed way down since they put me on couch rest, and aren't seeming to want to pick up anytime soon. So here in a couple of days we will have a new baby, ready or not!

My Boy

I wanted to put up some pictures of my boy recently. I am so worried about how I'm going to balance two kids and how Asher is going to react to the baby, so I'm trying to give him as much one on one attention as I can while I can. Granted that is not the easiest, because all he wants to do is wrestle and run, and at this point I'm getting a little too large to do either. So we spend a lot of time playing on the floor, and watching a lot of Netflix (Kick Buttowski to be more specific). Anyways, here are some pictures of boy doing what he does best. Playing.
His "Kick" stance...at least part of it. He does it so fast that I've had a hard time getting a picture.
Playing in baby sister's crib, with her giraffe

Pretending to take a nap in the crib. I think he has played in the crib more since we put it in her room then he did when it was in his!
 Just talking on the phone
(Don't mind the mess) This is another "Kick' thing. He loves to put on Dad's gloves, shoes, and hat before he does the stance. (both hands above his head, and pointer fingers pointing up)
Playing in his fort. All the blankets from the going to the drive-in last night (we went to Avengers for Mothers Day, it was awesome!)
I love you so much baby, know that that isn't going to change when the baby gets here. I will miss all our one on one time, but hopefully we'll be able to make some new fun memories with the baby, and hopefully soon I'll be able to run and wrestle with you again!

New Toy...

At least for Jason and Asher! Jason got a new pressure washer for things like cleaning the house, cars, and his bike (mostly the bike), and Asher thinks that it is the coolest. thing. EVER. Which usually results in some fights and some crying whenever Jason gets it out. So far we haven't reached WWIII status, but it has come close a couple of times :).

He loves "cleaning" of the patio

And of course his four-wheeler!

Couch Potato

So if you're wondering where my sudden burst of posting came from, it's because I have been told I have to be a "couch potato" for at least a week, by my doctor. I'm not on bed rest, but they don't want me doing much, for at least another week. I went to my appointment yesterday and I was dilated to a 2 and 60% effaced. And since I'm just barely 36 weeks and my doctor isn't around this weekend, they want me to take it really easy until at least next week. The good new is that I'm finally caught up on here! The bad news is this is only day two, and I'm getting really bored and Asher is getting really tired of Mommy not running around playing with him. (sigh)  Not only that but I still have my list of things to get done, that aren't getting done, and since they said that there is a good chance of me having the baby next week, I'm starting to freak out a little. I'm so not ready for two kids, but it sounds like I don't have much of a choice! Apparently at about 37 weeks my body says "you're done". (That's how far along I was when Asher was born too) So here's hoping I can remain good and make it to at least next week!

Blackmail!

I am totally going to use at least the last picture here as blackmail one day!
He loves to wear Dad's shoes and hats all around the house!
 So stylin'
Oh yea, he also likes to wear Mom's shoes too! So pretty!

First Loose Tooth!

No it shouldn't have been loose, and yes he is really young to already be missing a baby tooth. But back in October when we were camping up at Salmon, the day before we came home, Jason was carrying Asher out of my parent's trailer when one of their stairs buckled, and they both fell. Asher hit his tooth on something and it bled really bad. We ended up heading towards Salmon to get some service and called the pediatric dentist here in IF. They told us to give him only soft food and set up an appointment for the next week. When we finally made it in the doctor told us that it was loose but that maybe it would re-set. He also told us that Asher had some cavities (oops! Poor kid has bad teeth genes) and that we needed to get them taken care of, and since he was so young they recommended having it done at a surgical center under anesthesia. I told them about his health problems but they assured me it would be fine. I just needed to have Dr. Judd send his history to the surgical center, and they set up the date for the first part of Nov. Fast forward to the Thursday before his scheduled date. The doctors office call me and tells me that they still haven't received his chart from Dr. Judd. So I call again, and get the same nurse I had talked to before. She tells me that she's been gone and doesn't know why no one sent it. She assures me she will fax it over right then. The next day I get a call from the surgical center telling that they will not do the procedure in their facility because of Asher's health concerns. Of course we have to wait until the Friday before (his procedure was on Monday) to find all this out. Ugh! But we finally get it re-scheduled for the hospital (which is where I told them it should be done, but they said the surgical center would be just as fine and the hospital). And besides few other glitches, we finally get his cavities filled! They did end up pulling the loose tooth, (the one that started all of this, if you can remember that far back!) because it never had re-set, and since it had been about two months since it was knocked loose they figured it wasn't going to.
I'm not sure why this picture turned like this, but it won't upload the right way. This is him at his most recent appointment (a couple of weeks ago) and I'm glad to say NO CAVITIES!!! I'm also still trying to get a picture of his toothless mouth, but his not very cooperative. You might be able to kind of notice it in some pictures, or if you see him. It's on his bottom right.

Money

So Asher has recently found that he has a container full of "money" (coins) in his room. One day out of the blue he asked for his money container and took a bunch of coins out and started carrying them around with him. I was getting tired of always being on money patrol so I showed him that he could put them in his jacket pocket. So then, for about a week, every time we went somewhere, Asher would load his jacket up with his monies. We felt so bad because we couldn't figure out what he wanted to do with his money. So the Saturday before Easter we were going to go get him some new summer shoes, and I told Jason that we had to go to the mall or somewhere with a vending machine because that was all I could figure out that he wanted to do with his money. So we went to Payless in the mall and got him some new shoes, then while Dad stood in the long line, Asher I went in search of a vending machine. He grabbed my hand and lead me all the way to the same vending machine as we went to on our Mini Date. As soon as we got there he stopped and started pulling out his money. After he had enough quarters, I picked him up and let him put the money in, and then he picked out which pop he wanted (Diet Pepsi) and then got it out and lead me to the seats where we opened the pop took a drink, and then went looking for Dad. He was so proud of himself and finally quit taking his money everywhere we went. I was just glad to finally know what it was that he wanted!
