11 Months!

So this post is way past due, but I've had a hard time doing it, since it means only one more month (well, like 19 days) until my baby boy is a year old! Where has the time gone?! Even though he will always be my baby, he doesn't really act like a baby anymore. He acts more and more like a big boy every day, and even though it is so fun to see, it's a little sad at the same time. But I guess I can't stop the inevitable so, I'll just try to embrace it, and enjoy every second of it. Here are some facts about my silly big boy:

• He is a good stander, and can stand by himself for quite a while. He just normally will choose not to.
• He absolutely refuses to even try to take a step unless he has a hold of BOTH of your hands.
• If you try to stand him up and you are close enough to him, he'll just fall to you!
• He will walk around anything, and pull himself up to anything (whether or not he should!)
• He can say "Dada" but he still doesn't say it at the right time, or to the right person. He just says it
• This wasn't at his 11 month point, but I'll still put it in. Sunday he finally learned the sign for "more" and will use it when he wants "more" or just whatever you are eating, or when he wants to nurse. So basically he uses it as "I'm hungry" rather than just "more" but it's way cute to watch!
• He loves his "big boy" food, but still loves to nurse too!
• He will pretend to take a drink of your pop, then smile really big, and smack his lips
• He'll drink really well from his sippy cup (he only drinks water from it)
• He loves any kind of ball, and will find Jason's basketball and pretend to dribble
• He is really good at crawling up stairs, but still won't turn around to go down
• He loves the dog food and will try to race you to it before you pick it up
• He loves going for a ride in his stroller, the bike trailer, or on Dad's dirt bike
• He loves to go camping
• He loves playing in the water as long as it's not too cold :)
• He is best friends with his Daddy, but still a big Mama's boy

That's all I can think of for now! He is just a sweetheart, and we love watching him grow and learn new things! I love you, Baby! Happy 11 Month (well 11 1/2 month) Birthday!

If you look close you can see the fry sauce all over his face. He opened a tub we got from Fiesta Ole and started drinking! (Don't mind the fact he's screaming, he didn't want me to be taking his picture, he wanted held!)
